POOR PEOPLE, RICHER ENVIROMENTS
Since 1997 when “Gran Horizonte” office skyscraper was abandoned in Caracas, up to 3000 people have occupied it and created a sort of community called “Torre David”.
People customize its homes among concrete offices structure & colonized it with many different activities such as community spaces, sport spaces, shops, churches and of course many dwelling.
Recently an Venice Biennal awarded project by Think Tank group proposed to transform it into a bioclimatic building, improving its accessibility and construction conditions.
