Central House, Finchley, London (circa 1965).
Despite being only 7 storeys tall, the office building at Finchley made a significant impact on the streetscape through the vast concrete walls on its gable end. These walls act as beams, only broken by narrow window strips. The building was designed by A. Green, with the office block standing on top of a single storey pub.
